About MaxLinear

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Carlsbad, California, MaxLinear has grown through acquisitions of Exar, Microsemi's analog mixed-signal business, and Intel's Home Gateway Platform Division to build a diverse portfolio spanning wireline, wireless, and optical connectivity. MaxLinear's technologies address the increasing demand for bandwidth in data center interconnects and last-mile broadband access.

MaxLinear's high-speed interconnect PAM4 DSPs (Panther and Keystone platforms) power 400G and 800G optical modules for hyperscale data centers. The company's broadband portfolio includes MoCA 2.5, DOCSIS 3.1, G.hn, and PON SoCs for cable modems, gateways, and fiber ONTs. MaxLinear also produces UARTs, RS-485/RS-232 transceivers, and power management ICs inherited from the Exar lineage — widely used in industrial automation and embedded computing.

On Octatronics, search MaxLinear products by MxL, XR, and SP-prefix part numbers. Filter by application, data rate, interface, and package, then submit RFQs for infrastructure and industrial components.
